The Roadway Safety Foundation received a three-year grant from the Federal Highway Administration to:
1 – Facilitate improvement of the quality of data pertaining to public road hazards under a U.S. Road Assessment Program Pilot for which RSF will assume significant management in conjunction with the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety.
2 - Develop and execute a safer roads public service campaign regarding the extent to which road hazards and design features are a factor in motor vehicle crashes. RSF will work with AAA and AARP on these efforts.
3 – Promote public road safety research and technology transfer activities through enhanced involvement in safety organizations and a website for the promotion of road safety research.
